Katherine, born in Bolivia and raised in Peru, works with ancient shamanic techniques from her family back home. She will share with us the different customs and traditions of death and mourning rituals in the Andean regions of South America.

Discover how ancient practices from Peru and Bolivia have blended into modern society, preserving their cultural significance. Katherine will delve into the various elements of funeral ceremonies and burial practices, post-burial customs, and the deep-rooted importance of honoring ancestors and community support.

This talk will provide you with a glimpse into how these rituals continue to honor the deceased while fostering a sense of continuity and communal strength. You will learn about the rich heritage that shapes the way Andean cultures approach life, death, and remembrance.

Katherine works as an Shamanic Coach and Counselor. She is the founder of "The Andean Apothecary" where she gives Sessions and develops new holistic products.
